When the mood takes you could swim in the private, 11m x 5m pool, which has Roman steps leading into it. The pool slopes to a maximum of 7ft deep. Alternatively, sit and relax poolside and listen to the singing of the birds from the private woodland, yours to explore.
There are numerous place to sit and relax and the carefully-chosen stone and teak garden furniture and sun loungers are of the highest quality. In fact, quality is the mantra. There is also a pool room with shower and refridgerator for garden and pool use.
In addition, there are two large upstairs bedrooms with double aspect windows ensuring that these rooms have a light, airy feel to them. Two antique lamps adorne the bedside cabinets adding a touch of Chateau-like elegance.
The beautiful village of Beynac has a small variety of restaurants and shops overlooking the Dordogne river. Beynac is a perfectly preserved medieval village and, perched at the top of the hill, is the Chateaux of Beynac. The ancient Roman town of Sarlat is approximately 8 miles away, overflowing with shops, sights and restaurants.
